How To Draw Haunter Pokemon

Back with another Pokemon tutorial! This time we'll be learning how to draw Haunter, Pokemon #93. Haunter has always been one of my favorite Pokemon of the series. He's a ghost-type Pokemon, so he's a little creepy. And his floating hands are just the coolest thing. So grab a pencil and let's learn how to draw Haunter!

Step 1

The first step in drawing Haunter is to draw a simple circle which we will use as the base shape of his body. Divide the circle using two crossing lines to help us place Haunter's facial features later on.

Step 2

Next, draw three large spikes one each side of Haunter's body, also, draw a few smaller spikes under his body for his short tail.

Step 3

Next, following the horizontal guideline of his face, draw Haunter's large triangular eyes with a very small pupil in each one.

Step 4

Draw a large curved smile at the bottom of Haunter's face. His mouth is very large should be nearly touching the outer edge of the circle.

Step 5

Next, draw several sharp triangular shaped teeth inside Haunter's mouth. Haunter typically has larger teeth on top, and smaller teeth closer together on the bottom of his mouth.

Step 6

Draw two triangular shapes floating next to Haunter's body for his hands. We will use these shapes as an anchor point to place his fingers in the next step.

Step 7

Following the general shape from the last step, draw three curved fingers that end in sharp points on each of Haunter's hands.

Step 8

Lastly, give Haunter some color. This part is extra easy because Haunter is basically all purple except for his reddish-pink mouth. I hope you had fun learning how to draw Haunter with me. Check out our Pokemon category for plenty more tutorials, and as always… happy drawing!
